Cindy and I drove up to Lake City, stopping frequently to take pictures on the way. We encountered a cowboy moving cattle down from the high country, to be transported to lower elevations for the winter.
We had lunch at Southern Vittles in Lake City, with Corky Henson and Judge Watt Murrah, and then drove back, taking detours down the Deer Lake road and campground, and down the North Clear Creek Road.
The pictures require no other commentary. We are so blessed to be able to spend the summer in this country.
