This is our campground at Grindelwald. The mountain in the background is the north face of the Eiger, a mountain which has killed lots of climbers. You may remember a pretty bad movie called The Eiger Sanction, with Clint Eastwood and George Kennedy. I mentioned the movie while we were there, but couldn't remember George Kennedy as the name of the actor who played the villain. It was a day or so later when it popped into my head, and then out of my mouth as a complete non-sequitor. Thereafter on the trip, anything which someone couldn't remember was immediately labeled "George Kennedy." Anyway, the tents we took on this trip were both made by a company named after the mountain, North Face.
