Summer 2012 Creede Journal

by Linden B. (Lindy) Sisk

I am blessed to be spending another summer in Creede, Colorado

If you're lucky enough to be in the mountains, you're lucky enough

I usually spend May through September in Creede. This year, I didn't arrive in Creede until July 30th. The reason is that I had to get rid of cancer, which, if you're interested, you can read about in Cancer Chronology.

After all that has happened in the last year, I was so grateful to be getting to Creede that I had tears in my eyes on the drive between South Fork, Colorado, and Creede. I think the phrase "breathtakingly beautiful" may have been invented to describe this area. If you don't believe that, browse some of the pages linked on last year's 2011 Creede Summer Journal.

The links on this page will be listed in reverse date order, so that the most recent posts will be near the top for ease of reading.

Each of the sections below has a link in it, which you may click on to see the full report.
